Why I’m Sweating with Pride
LGBTQIA+ people still face discrimination at work and in daily life. That's why I'm moving for 21 minutes a day this June to raise money for life-changing services that strengthen rainbow communities.
Every dollar you give helps fund services that fight discrimination and increase community wellbeing year-round.
As a proud gay man, movement has always been part of my life. It's medicine for my brain and body and one of the most valuable tools to support my wellbeing. At 33 I decided to return to full time dance study at Adelaide College of the Arts while teaching Pilates, Barre, Cardio and Strength classes before and after uni at Aleenta Health Club to help myself and others share in the joy of movement.
I truly believe movement can change lives, create confidence, connection and community so I'd love your support by encouraging your Good Judys to Sweat with Pride this June, come move with me in the studio and donate to help ensure our rainbow communities can access the support they need.
My professional and artistic work is deeply anchored in elevating LGBTQIA+ stories and advancing community advocacy because equality isn't evenly distributed within our community. I always say to people, never underestimate your voice, whether you're behind the scenes, on the front page, waiting in the wings, centre stage or in the audience, we all have the ability to spark positive change so let's keep showing up, showing out and sweating with pride together.

I'm a marketer and tour guide certified in inclusive tourism. I've authored personal essays on queer representation in media and marriage equality across PEDESTRIAN.TV and Marie Claire Australia and worked in digital publishing project managing commercial campaigns covering queer culture and pride initiatives. In 2025, I stepped into community and brand experience management at Feast Festival championing local queer artists and celebrating the 50th anniversary of homosexuality being decriminalised in South Australia. When I'm not in the studio or deepening my creative arts practice at uni, I'm working on writing my first LGBTQIA+ book dedicated to documenting, normalising and preserving queer lived experiences.
Thank you so much for your support!
