Why I’m Sweating with Pride
This Pride Month I’m taking on the Sweat with Pride challenge to raise money for our rainbow communities! 🌈
Despite significant progress, our schools, workplaces, and doctors’ offices are still not safe places for many rainbow folk. DEI programmes are being rolled back, discriminatory legislation is being pushed, and our safety and equality is at risk.
So, this June I’m fighting discrimination with perspiration, and I've committed to working out (in between crying over exam prep) EVERY DAY to raise money to support Australia's LGBTQIA+ communities
As someone living with chronic pain and Ehler's Danlos Syndrome, moving my body is SO important for my health, but something I often struggle with. So this challenge just as much for my benefit.
This cause means a lot to me. I’d be SO GRATEFUL if you could chip in to help me reach my goal, or better yet, join me and take up the challenge! Every dollar raised will fund life-changing support services for Australia's rainbow communities.
