Why I’m Sweating with Pride
I’m a sweaty-betty at the best of times, but this June I’m going to Sweat with Pride.🌈🌈🌈🌈
If you know me, you know how much the LGBTQIA+ community means to me! If I know you, that means you’re a pretty good egg, and either a part the rainbow community and/or a rock-solid ally! ❤️🔥
We know it’s pretty effed at the moment for some folk. Almost 3 million Australians identify as LGBTQIA+. But in spite of significant progress, our communities are far from equal. LGBTQIA+ have the highest rates of suicidality compared with any other populations in Australia, and less than 50% of rainbow youth feel safe at school.
So to help support LGBTQIA+ folk and young people, I’ll be swearing uhh .. I mean sweating for 60 minutes EVERY DAY to raise money, and I’d love you to help me reach my goal!
Every dollar I raise will fund life-changing support services for Australia's rainbow communities.
