Why I’m Sweating with Pride
As a coach and Personal Trainer in Potts Point, I’m lucky enough to work in one of the most vibrant, welcoming and diverse communities in Sydney.
The LGBTQIA+ community is a huge part of what makes this area, and P.E. Department, feel like home. It’s the people who show up every day with energy, personality, support and authenticity that make coaching here so rewarding. Quite honestly, it gives me a reason to enjoy coming to work every day.
Sweat With Pride is an opportunity to give something back to a community that has supported our gym so heavily over the years.
Throughout June, I’ll be moving for at least 21 minutes a day and raising funds for organisations that provide mental health support, advocacy, education and community services for LGBTQIA+ Australians.
