Why I’m Sweating with Pride
As a queer woman currently training for a Triathlon, two things I love are my community and moving my body. Sweating with Pride brings those worlds together in the best way possible.
This June, I’ve upped the commitment and will be doing 60 minutes daily to really push myself and show up for a cause that means so much to me.
I’m lucky to work in an inclusive workplace and have a supportive network, but I know that’s not the reality for everyone. Many LGBTQIA+ people still face discrimination in their workplaces and everyday lives—and that’s why I’m taking part.
Every dollar you give helps fund services that fight discrimination and increase community wellbeing year-round.
