Cowboy C*untry
Cowboy C*untry is queer line dancing… or dare we say, rodeo for everybody. Founded by Sydney-based actor and creator Kath Ebbs, Cowboy C*untry was born from a love of movement, music, community, and the rich, and often overlooked, queer roots of cowboy culture. Around here, everyone’s invited to pull on their boots, hit the dance floor, and feel like they belong.
Why We’re Sweating with Pride
At its heart, Cowboy C*untry is about creating a safe third space, somewhere people can gather, move their bodies, connect with community, and feel good doing it.
Right now, that matters more than ever.
Across Australia, LGBTQIA+ people still experience discrimination, isolation, and barriers to feeling safe and supported in everyday life. That’s why this June, we’re committing to moving for 21 minutes every day and raising funds for services that strengthen, support, and uplift rainbow communities all year round.
Every donation helps fund life-changing programs that fight discrimination, improve wellbeing, and create safer spaces for LGBTQIA+ people to thrive.
Whether you’re donating a few dollars, looking for community, wanting a joyful way to move your body, or simply searching for a place where you can show up exactly as you are, Cowboy C*untry will always welcome you with open arms.
